Carol Huben is a History teacher in the Special Education department at HEC Academy in Northampton, MA. She will be returning to school as a student of the Social Justice Education Master's Program at UMass Amherst in the fall of 2015. Her undergraduate thesis focused on racism towards Native peoples in the form of the sports mascot. Outside of education, she spends her time practicing and teaching aikido.
