My name is Jeromie Hammer. I am from Tahlequah, Ok and I am a member of the Cherokee Nation. I currently serve as the Physical Education teacher and Assistant Principal at the Cherokee Immersion Charter School on the campus of Sequoyah Indian School in Tahlequah. I also serve as an assistant football and wrestling coach at Sequoyah High School. I graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Performance. I earned a Masters Degree in Education from Northeastern State in 2015 and obtained a principal’s certification the same year. I have been married to my wife Sunny for 17 years. We have two children: LynDee, 16 and Eli, 15.
