Sylvia Kwon is entering her 6th year as a middle school Humanities teacher. In addition to teaching a Software Engineering Program (SEP) class, she serves as the faculty advisor for the school's Asian Cultural Club and Eco-Friendly Fashion Show Club. She earned her BA in English and American Literature and MA in Secondary English Education at New York University. One of her primary goals as an educator is to turn every student into a lifelong reader by finding them a diverse range of books to match their interests. She teaches at a mastery/standards based grading school and uses project based learning practices to design her curriculum.
